Who We Are
Welcome to Hamaari Ummeed – a movement born on a freezing night, 21 December 2003, when a small cry at Maa Kaali Temple changed a life forever. From rescuing one fever‑stricken child to empowering thousands, we’ve walked every step with street children, youth, and vulnerable communities to restore dignity, education, and hope.
About Us
– Vision – A society where every child lives with dignity, education, and equal opportunities.
– Mission – Rescue, rehabilitate, and empower street & homeless children, youth, and women through education, life‑skills, health, and livelihood support.
– Registration – Registered as a Trust (Non‑Govt) in Delhi on 15 July 2009 (Reg No 3126, under Indian Trust Act 1882) .¹
– Operational Reach – Delhi (East & North‑West) with plans for a National Resource Centre – Hamaari Ummeed Academy (HUA).
